Amish Folded Star Hotpads
We will take most of the day to learn how to make these iconic folded square star hot pads. A template will be provided to allow for the perfect placement of the folded squares. Two finishing techniques will be taught - a binding with a loop and the envelope technique that works well for beginners. Detailed directions will be provided along with tips throughout the day. This project involves minimal sewing, but attendees should bring a sewing machine and know how to use the basic stitches. A supply list will be provided. This project is great for making gifts for the holidays.
